We would greatly appreciate if you could disseminate this advert to your members and wider network. We wish to attract the best candidates possible, as well as making sure that all prospective applicants, in all parts of the world, are aware of the vacancies and have the opportunity to apply. In addition, please respond to this email to recommend any specific candidates who you consider suitable for either role.
Obesity Reviews, World Obesity’s official reviews journal, is the highest-ranked obesity journal by Impact Factor (ISI Journal Citation Reports), and publishes reviews on all disciplines related to obesity and its comorbidities. Clinical Obesity, our official clinical journal, publishes translational and clinical research papers and reviews focussing on obesity and its comorbidities. Both journals play a vital role in disseminating high-quality obesity research, and the new Editors will have a unique opportunity to further increase the influence of these growing titles at time when understanding of the science behind obesity is rapidly expanding.
Applications close on 12 noon (GMT) on Monday, 7th March 2022. For both vacancies, preference will be offered to candidates who have wide expertise or interest in obesity and its related complications, a track record of reviewing academic papers, and genuine enthusiasm for enhancing the profile of the journal. Consideration will also be given to geographical and gender representation.
